I am a self employed artist. I grew up in Dumfries and Galloway, south west Scotland. I live and work in the heart of the west end of Glasgow. I studied at the Edinburgh College of Art where I did a bachelor of arts honors degree in sculpture. Since I graduated in 2005 I have been making and selling my drawings and accessories.

All the accessories I make are made from recycled materials. Everything has a background or a story behind it. I collect fabrics, buttons, sequins and beads from various places. The quality of the fabrics and materials I source are by no means compromised because it is recycled. On the contrary, some of the antique silk and sequins, for example, far exceed the quality of some of the more modern fabrics. Therefore you can have fashion with a conscious!

I draw representations of natural environments and landscapes. I am constantly absorbing places I visit and the beauty in the landscape and organic forms I encounter. These reactions and feelings manifest into abstract mixed media drawings.
